Introduction: My students receive a music education that is tailored to fit their needs as a student. Unlike many teachers who teach all students with one method, I am interested in what the student wants to pursue and why they enjoy music. My students will not only study classical piano or violin, but will learn music theory, develop ear training skills and improvisational skills, and learn to play with a beautiful sound from the very beginning. Students will be encouraged to listen to and play music that they love. Seeing the progress of students as they develop, and getting to experience their excitement and love for music makes my job a continual joy. I love the unique experience of every student and how no two lessons are ever the same.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Parents should look for a teacher that will co-operate with them in a joyful but structured experience for their child. I find that students who practice regularly with their parents' support and encouragement enjoy lessons more and continue longer because they can see their progress. Beyond this, parents should look for a teacher who will be sensitive to the personality and needs of the child and will individualize their approach. Not all music students learn the same way and parents should look for a teacher who fits their child's personality, needs, and will teach what the child wants to learn.
