- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For first time clients, I am currently offering 50% off for initial clean-up. catch-up or for the first three months of monthly bookkeeping services. My pricing is based on the amount of bank and credit card monthly transactions, the number and types of services you request, i.e. A/P, A/R. Payroll, Sales Tax, inventory, etc.. With that establish, there will be a base price. I do not charge by the hour, so it will be the same amount each month, unless the services requested changes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A conversation with the client about their business, their current business status and their goals, and what they see as their bookkeeping accounting needs are. I have a checklist to ensure we cover all the essentials to ensure that we are on the same page.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA from Sonoma State University and Masters Tomales Psychotherapy Training Institute. From there I spent 10 years as a clinical therapist working with teenagers. Following a life change, I spent 25 years in operations and sales, while simultaneously operating a business with my husband for 30 years. Since deciding to start this business I have secured my QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certificate Level 1 and 2 and the Payroll certification. I continue my education through online classes, and have dedicated mentors working with me to troubleshoot and brainstorm.
