Jessica Haddy

Introduction: Jessica Haddy is a freelance violinist available in Southern California. She performs solo violin or with her guitar and violin duo, piano and violin duo, or harp and violin duo. She plays events at Ritz Carlton, Surf and Sand, the Montage Resort, and the St. Regis Resorts in Laguna Beach and Laguna Niguel. She will welcome your song requests for your special occasion; she is trained to play rock, classical, gypsy, and pop tango music! Jessica has appeared in music videos with Randy Travis, Elton John, Sting, Sheryl Crow, and Il Divo. She has made television appearances performing with the Golden State Pops Orchestra at the Dorthy Chandler Pavilion and performing for the Hollywood Tree Lighting Ceremony with Burt Bacharach. From 2005 to 2007, Jessica was the violinist for the musical stage production of Quadrophenia, which was written by Pete Townsend of The Who. Their performances were held at SIR Studios, the Redondo Beach Arts Center, and Avalon Theater in Hollywood. Jessica performed at the Los Angeles Walt Disney Hall, with special guest conductor Michael Tilson Thomas, and assistant conductor to the L.A. Phil, Joana Careiro. That same year, she performed at the Reagan Library, with the Debut Symphony, for former First Lady Nancy Reagan, former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush. Jessica currently has a private violin/viola studio in Laguna Beach. She is still freelancing and performing violin-guitar duo, solo violin, and violin-piano duo. Jessica and her husband created a musical duo, Haddy. The guitar and violin duo were the featured performers at the opening of the Old Pottery Place, located in Laguna Beach, and the New York Coffee and Tea festival in New York City. Playing for various events, they have performed at different Southern California venues. Currently, the couple are working on writing and recording music together. For the past 8 years, Jessica has performed with her pianist Deborah Glass. Deborah is a local accompanist for soloists from Laguna Tunes and the Pacific Symphony. She is the Laguna Beach Class Act Program ambassador and is the strings teacher at Laguna Beach High School. Also, Deborah has a private piano studio in Laguna Beach Jessica and Deborah performed together at Ritz Carlton, the Montage Resort, and Surf and Sand Resort. The city of Laguna Beach featured the Haddy Glass Duo in the Sunset Serenades Concert Series in 2008 and 2009. Together, their music repertoire ranges from gypsy to classical, tango, and rock music. Between 2008 and 2010, Jessica and Deborah were the La Casa Del Camino house musicians on Friday and Saturday nights, performing from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
