- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because design and engineering of complex systems cannot be well defined, I work by an hourly rate which may contain milestones so that the job may be executed in blocks. I can provide an estimate for those blocks.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I come from a family line in the suburbs of Detroit who were tool and die makers, inventors, and engineers. I went through Henry Ford Trade School in Dearborn Michigan. My dad and granddaddy talked shop nearly all the time, and I knew if I stuck around I would finally understand what they were saying. It worked!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I am best at clean sheet industrial mechanical, and electromechanical designs and engineering. These are the types with which I usually end up.
