FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a freelancer, I can be very flexible with estimates and work closely with my client's budget. My fees tend to be very reasonable- plus I don't carry the exorbitant overhead that large firms tend to have. This does not mean that the quality of work or commitment to the project is below par. I pride myself in providing my clients the very best.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Here's a typical process on a web design project- from discovery to delivery: The first stage is to get to know the client and become familiar with the particulars of the project. So I will gather information usually through email or over the phone. Occasionally, local clients will want to meet in person. Once we decide to move forward, I will collect the all resources, such as text files, images, etc. The second stage involves creating a first draft of the site. This is staged in a private domain and the client gets to see and use a working model of the site. Here's were we discuss adjustments and refine the final draft. Once the client signs off on the draft, I take the site live in the client's domain.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. Prior to that, many years ago, my main interest was in the visual arts. While I've chosen paths that have taken me from network management to systems administration, it all led to the use of technology to create aesthetically pleasant works of art for my clients.
