- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Greet them, set up, get an idea of the exact look they're wanting (get a picture if possible), ask them their skin type and examine for any abrasions.Prime the face by applying the serums/moisturizers necessary. Start with eyebrows shape & fill. Then apply eye shadow primer and do the eye-shadow and eyeliner. Then I prep the face by removing any of the excess serum/moisturizer that didn't get absorbed. Do acne/dark spot cover-up if necessary. Apply pore perfecter, foundation, followed by concealer. Set (bake) with a powder. Apply contour, followed by blush, and then highlight/bronze. Then I apply false lashes, go over the eyeliner with a matte eye shadow to set it, curl lashes, and apply mascara. As a final step, I spray 3 different setting sprays for maximum hold so the makeup can last all day.
