Working with Nicole was a dream. I would highly recommend her as a personal stylist and plan to work with her again soon. // A bit of backstory: I'm a 5'7" slender (size 2) woman in San Francisco in her late 20s. And shopping stresses me out - too many choices, not enough guidance, and I don't want to spend the time reading through Cosmopolitan, Elle etc to figure out what style works and what doesn't. Because of the above, I've worked with a personal stylist before when I lived in New York. I walked away with many nice and expensive 'classic' pieces from Bloomingdale's, none of which really fit my style and none of which I wear today. I look at that experience as a waste. I felt very nervous trying this again, but knew I needed to give it a go. My goal was to finally nail a capsule wardrobe so that I wouldn't have to think about each individual piece anymore -- without spending hours of my life on research -- so that I could just feel comfortable and confident in my look. // Working with Nicole Nicole is very down-to-earth and very approachable. In our first phone call, she asked about my goals, my body type, my favorite stores and more. She then put together a Pinterest board and sent it over to me. And here is the PERFECT example of why I'm SO glad I worked with a personal stylist in the first place... Because I looked at the Pinterest board and thought, "Oh, how dull... these pieces are so basic and too loose to accentuate my figure." But then my boyfriend (a visual designer) took a look and said, "Actually, the length of this top would accentuate your torso," and "The cropped length of these pants would make you look taller," and "The draped look makes you appear slimmer than a tight one" and so on and so forth, enlightening me to all the fundamental principles of style that Nicole had subtly understood and applied to fit my body, that I never would have picked out for myself. With that I was sold. // Once in the Mall I love the styles in Aritzia, but the last time I went to their two story store I spent three hours but walked out empty-handed and deeply frustrated. Nothing I had picked out actually worked on my body, and I felt at once helpless and somewhat pathetic at spending all that time, trying on all those pieces, and not being able to land at something that worked for my look. With Nicole, I tried Aritzia again. She had pulled out several pieces all waiting for me when I walked in -- and they all fit like a glove and were exactly what I was looking for: chic, comfortable, casual, yet polished and with a touch of class. I was so excited at finally having found the pieces that could be a base for my wardrobe that I insisted on going through the store again together, in case we had missed something that might work just as well; and found nothing. She had picked out exactly what worked for my body type, exactly what worked for my style, and I wish I had trusted her eye and thoroughness from the beginning! // In Sum If you're looking to nail your wardrobe once and for all, and not have to spend hours stressing about it, buying pieces that you ultimately return, and just love what you wear without thinking about it, then work with Nicole. Just do it. You won't regret it and you'll have hours of your life back and compliments (and confidence) galore. Thank you, Nicole, and look forward to working together again soon.

I had FUN working with Nicole and feel really great about all of the items she picked out for me. I knew we were going to have a successful shopping trip together, when I tried on the pieces she pre-selected for me at the stores and I loved them all. We had just been shopping for about 10 minutes and I already had more pieces that I loved (and with good prices) than I had come up with in my last several trips to the mall. She was so professional and thoughtful and her style sense was spot on. She knew what was going to look good on me based upon my style, frame, and age and she worked quickly to find those pieces. She was so fun to be around and I feel like we had an amazingly successful day, but in a nice and relaxed way. We also had a great lunch together to break up our six-hour shopping spree and she shared some helpful tips about what to wear with what and generally helped me feel a whole lot more confident in my style. I love getting dressed in the clothes I have and look forward to going out, dressing up, and showing my new clothes to friends, co-workers etc... I'm already planning on working with her for my fall wardrobe too! Highly recommend and I look forward to being a repeat client :)

Nicole was great for a closet purge. She was super friendly. It can be odd bringing a stranger into your home to judge your clothes, but she was great. she was honest and super helpful and helped me get rid of clothes I really should've gotten rid of a while ago. Nicole was amazing.
