Introduction: As a graduate from Vanguard University, having earned my Bachelor's of Musc in Guitar Performance with a 3.8 GPA, I have been through all the music courses and perfomance classes need to teach any student. I have toured nationally and recorded with the Vanguard Guitar Ensemble. I am very well familiar to what makes a group and individual sound great and prosper.
As a student going on to my Masters Degree, I feel that teaching privately allows me to hone my craft in not only teaching others music but to learn from students as well. I'm excited to be exposed to different kinds of music and integrating them into my own playing.

Samuel is a great teacher, having seen him do the work in depth. He goes methodically through the music, and what needs to be done, recognizing what to work on. He also has enthusiasm about the music that is quickly caught on to by the student!

My 4-year old cousin's first guitar lesson with Sam was great! She was receptive to his instructions. He was very patient as he taught her to find the rhythm of the music, identify basic music notes and play the guitar using a pick. From observing their interaction,
I could tell that my cousin enjoyed the lesson. Needless to say, my cousin is looking for to next week's lesson!

I started lessons with Sam about 2 weeks ago and even after the first lesson I noticed a HUGE difference in my playing. I was improving at a way quicker rate than on my own. He watched me play and could instantly see what I needed to work on. Its been invaluable to have someone as knowledgable and passionate as him helping me. He's willing to take extra time to make sure you're getting it.
