Spencer Artist Development Coaching is offered in ongoing weekly sessions designed for serious students working toward professional-level results. Sessions are typically 60 or 90 minutes. Rates are discussed during consultation based on goals and level of training.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Process Initial Consultation A brief phone or video consultation to discuss your experience level, goals, and determine if this coaching is the right fit. First Session (60 minutes) A focused evaluation session conducted online or in-person (Long Beach, CA), where we assess your current level and begin targeted work. Enrollment & Materials Students accepted into ongoing coaching receive structured guidance and curated materials (scripts, exercises, and training resources) to support development. Or in music, repertoire, etudes, theory/ear, and music history. Ongoing Training Coaching is conducted in weekly 60 or 90 -minute sessions, designed for consistent progress and professional-level results.

Education & Training James Spencer holds advanced training in performance, music, and coaching, with a multidisciplinary background supporting high-level artistic development. Master of Music – Vocal & Keyboard Performance, California State University, Fullerton Bachelor of Music – Vocal & Keyboard Performance, California State University, Fullerton Performance Diploma – Early Music (Pianoforte/Harpsichord), Royal Academy of Music Associate of Arts (Music & Drama) – Orange Coast College Additional training and certifications include: Fellowship studies in Drama (American Plays, Film & Television) and Musicology Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification, Hypnosis Motivation Institute CLAD Teaching Credential (Vocal/Choral Music & Drama, National Certification) U.S. Coach for examinations with the University of West London (London College of Music program)
