My son is taking Guitar class with Mr. Alan from last 2 months. My son loves his class. He has taught him 5 songs until now. He provides notes as well which my son could refer later. Very punctual. Great communication. Understands my child's needs well. Would definitely recommend him.

I've been taking guitar lessons for a few months with Alan, and he has been fantastic! He listens to my goals and caters the lessons towards my interests and skill level. As an example, although he is classically trained, I didn't want to take the classical approach, so I'm learning guitar through pop music. He is encouraging, gives thoughtful response to all my questions, and peppers in bits of music theory in each lesson. He also does vocal training, which wasn't in my initial scope of criteria, but is much appreciated! I recommend music lessons with Alan! :)

We’ve been taking piano lessons with Mr. Alan for about six months now, and he has been absolutely phenomenal with our 5-year-old. He is kind, patient, and flexible, which makes such a difference at this age. Our child isn’t always the best at sitting still or staying focused, but Mr. Alan has a wonderful way of keeping lessons fun while still keeping our kid on task and engaged. His ability to connect with young learners is truly special. We can’t recommend him enough!

Details: Younger than 6 years old • No, the student cannot read music • No formal training • What the teacher recommends • Yes, the student has a keyboard • 30 minutes • My home, venue, etc.

I have a tendency to give up when I dont see any progress, and it's been a real problem with learning things because I tend to give up before the progress comes. And I guess my thinking has been that I can pick up anything and learn it and sometimes thats true and sometimes not and when it came to guitar i had tried to learn it on my own and all I did was to learn sum bad habits. That said I had to learn everything over again and I felt at times I was never gonna get it, but Alan was great at pointing out the things I was doing well and the things that needed more work and attention and he was great at just taking time with me and really understanding my frustrations and help me through them and thanks to him I'm playing guitar and loving it!
