Tim Fenton Music Lessons

Hi I’m Tim and I would love to work together! I have taught many students from ages 4- 60+ at all different levels on the piano, guitar, upright and electric bass. I know every student learns in a different way, and I tailor each lesson to that particular student’s learning style. I have helped students audition for colleges including USC and UCLA. One of my students went on to study Jazz at UC Irvine. I have also hosted student recitals, which can be both fun and rewarding for students. I’m grateful for my musical education, and I would like to share that with my students. I got my BM (Bachelor of Music) at Oberlin Conservatory and MM at Universtiy of Southern California. In addition to teaching, I’m also an active performer. I have led my own band at Threes Brewing and Barzakh Cafe in Brooklyn. I have also played at venues such as Webster Hall, 54 Below, Jimmy'z Monte Carlo (in Monaco), the historic Blue Whale (in Los Angeles), and played on recording sessions at Atlantic and Capitol Records. I specialize in jazz, pop, r&b, rock and classical.
