My AC unit just died, and I was afraid from the upcoming heat wave. I reached Home Upgrade Specialist, and they were abele to schedule me a free appointment for the same day. Their specialist came over and gave me all my options and prices. The job was done fast! And you can really tell that the installers are professionals, and they left the house clean like they never been there. The moat important thing is that they kept all the regulations of the COVID-19, face cover and masks, gloves and distance.

Fantastic company. Simon is polite, communicative, and friendly. They did a great job installing a new central air system for me in my condo and gave me the most competitive price I've found. I'm very happy with this company - it's extremely difficult to find honest and reputable contractors nowadays, but HUS is definitely one you should add to your contacts.

Awesome service from Home Upgrade Specialist! Our central air unit stopped working during the weekend and within a couple hours of contacting them through Thumbtack I received a response and an appointment was set up within a day! A technician came to assess the needed repairs, He couldn't do the repairs right then because of parts that were needed but he came back at the same day and quickly repaired our unit and also ran a maintenance cleaning. I would 100% contact them again for any other issue.

We needed a complete replacement of our A/C, furnace and ducts. The installers came on time, removed our old equipment and installed the new system. It took all day, but they worked diligently with only a break for lunch. They cleaned up after themselves which we appreciated. The project was not inexpensive but the first technician who came and diagnosed our issues gave us a fair estimate. We’re pleased with the results.

We can beat or match any written estimate- try us! ******** For Repairs or Maintenance We offer special pricing for Thumbtack customers - $65 for a service call / diagnostic fee (Instead of $79) This service fee covers the cost of the technician to make an in person diagnostic of the system so that we can provide an accurate quote for the repair
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For replacement or Installation: We send a specialist to inspect the house and determine exactly what needs to be done. We then provide the customer with a quote for the job. If the customer approves the quote, we set a date for installation. ******** For Repairs and/or Maintenance We schedule an appointment, The technician then goes to the client’s location to diagnose the problem and gives a quote for the repair.
