FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't feel that I have a complicated pricing system. My price depends on what the client needs/wants done. If he wants a synopsis/summary of a film or TV idea, it's $600 for up to two drafts (including 1 one-hour phone conference) of a 3-7 page document [TV summaries are normally 1-3 pages / film summaries or treatments are 3-5 pages] // For a more detailed film or TV breakdown or "outline" (which is more scene by scene of the idea in summary), it's a 7-20 page document that will cost the client $2500 for two drafts (7-12 pages for TV outlines; 10-20 pages for film outlines); for a full-length TV pilot script that is 30-45 pages long, the client can expect to spend $10,000 for two drafts; for a full-length movie script ranging 90-120 pages, the client can expect to spend $25,000. Timeline for the summary/synopsis is 3-5 days; timeline for the TV pilot or film outline is 10-14 days; timeline for the full-length TV pilot is 14-28 days; timeline for the full-length movie script is 45-60 days.
