Roger did an excellent job installing a new mailbox on the sidewalk. He arrived when he said he would, and completed the job in a couple of hours. Since I had another appointment to go to he told me I didn't have to stick around and said he would text me pictures when finished. When asked how I should pay him he said if you like my work you can send the money by PayPal, and if you don't like it don't pay me! Unbelievable, I would highly recommend Roger.
I have to echo the other 5 star reviews. Platinum removed and replaced rusted broken sewer pipes under my house with all new horizontal piping. A hard and dirty job but their work was truly outstanding. Then they cleaned outside drains which were clogged with roots which had been growing for years. Again, not an easy job but they kept at it until it was done. Joel, Rafael and crew were persistent and efficient. And left my house and outside areas clean. Wouldn't know they were here. Power washed and swept all outside spaces & didn't leave any debris behind. And they showed up when they said they would. Compared to the other plumbers I've had work on my house since I inherited it last year they were the best. Highly recommended!
James was fantastic. I wanted a wrought iron gate to match the design on existing to secure the deck from the stairs that lead down to the back yard. He paid attention to my instructions/requests and the project turned out very nice.
Jon Eckel helped me with a painting project that included 2 large gates, a fence, and stucco on the side of my house. Jon provided a fair price, his team was punctual, professional, and friendly. The quality of work was great. I would use Jon Eckel again for another painting project.
I had my two story 2500 Sq ft house painted. David was great from the get go. We went over paint color choices and that's when I knew he was more of an artist. He really listened to my ideas and helped me to get the color I was going for perfectly. Loved his idea for my front door and my garage door. Before he even finished the job I was adding more things to paint when he was done with the house, like the back wall, fence, planters, grill area and awning. He did a great job fixing the stucco and repairing cracks. Next he is doing dry walling and painting my Master bedroom, I can't wait! He was very personable and professional. He is always done by 4 pm so he never disturbed our everyday routine. I appreciate that he does a big final walk through so I knew if I wanted something changed it could be. I recommended him to my friends and now I have two girlfriends in line to get their houses done. Thanks David you are amazing at what you do and at fabulous price too! ~ Tamara L. p.s. If you're not sure of what color to paint your house please talk to Dave before you paint it some kind of crazy green!
removed old brick walkway from front pad to back patio. Graded and leveled for drainage from new back patio to front pad for overall drainage path to the front of property site. He calls before coming over, and arrives on time.
Ron did a wonderful job!!! I had a wooden porch in the backyard that was falling apart. Ron replaced it with a composite decking and metal railing. He made an effort to lower the cost of the project. The new porch looks amazing! I strongly recommend him!
I had a 16 foot sloped ceiling that needed wallpaper, Armand did the job quickly and beautifully. He is a real professional.
The job started out simply removing an old wooden patio cover that was badly worn. Henser's men did such a good job that we had them back to patch and paint some problem walls inside the house. They were able to pinpoint a recurring roof leak and removed and replaced a section of spanish tile roof. Great job guys! I would use them again.
I am a Realtor, I was assisting my client with selecting a painter to paint her home prior to listing it for sale. My client and I were very impressed with Hebert and the work that he did. Throughout the process Hebert was very professional, diligent, and reliable. He did everything he said he was going to do at the price he said it would be. Hebert even came back to do some additional painting after my client replaced some steps off the wood deck in the backyard, he did this additional work without additional charge, talk about a class act. I would definitely refer Hebert to my other clients and I would call him if I needed my own home painted. If you are looking for an honest and professional painter Hebert is your man.
I hired Greg and am extremely pleased with him! He is excellent at cleaning and goes above and beyond to accomadate my schedule. Greg has also gone out of his way to power hose my front yard and hung a wall mural for me. He is now my weekly house cleaner. I am so glad I found him!
If you are looking for someone who is honest, hardworking, and does a great job-- then Dan Herrera is your guy. He does beautiful wood work. He listens to your ideas and then puts together really nice work. The work he had done for me includes an awesome driveway gate, a complete backyard patio, baseboards and ceiling moldings and more. I highly recommend Dan to all of my friends!
I hired Julio to re-roof my enclosed patio. He was the third person I had quote the job. The first 2 quotes where more expensive, but most concerning was the fact that neither would give me the total price in writing. Julio sent a detailed job summary and cost directly to my phone. The job consisted of: Removing and hauling away the existing roof (shingle material), Removing & replacing a 10 foot section of dry rotted wood, replace entire fascia, and Install a Granulated Torch style roof. Julio was able to schedule and complete the job on the weekend which was great for me. They were on time, and everything went as planned - no surprises or added expenses. What impressed me the most was the work he preformed that wasn't on the contract. I had a problem with excess water runoff where the garage and house roofs met. If I didn't put a barrel there it would enter & flood my garage. He showed up Sunday with a gutter system that would redirect the water away from the house. Even though I offered to pay for the materials and/or time it took to install he put it up at no charge. I would recommend using Julio for any roofing or repair job. He does quality work at a great price and has integrity.
Sal and his son were first and foremost on time, fair and honest! They did electrical work, stucco repair, patch, and seal, plywood for patio roof removal and haul away, drywall repair and texture! All in one long day (he stayed late due to the threat of rain later that night and wanted to finish up) and I was more than satisfied with their work. I will be having Wright Contractor Svc doing more work for me. Thank you, thank you!!!
Contacted George with a list of projects I had in mind, but needed a price to see how much I could get done and what the costs would be. George came over to give me a quote and a breakdown of costs of each project and payment schedule, which I appreciated. We went ahead with the work. One of the bigger projects we had George and his team do was to knock down our existing patio and concrete and put up a new one. Old patio was 15' x 20' we did a new 15' x 40' patio. Very happy with the quality of work and the patio itself. Other projects include removing bulkhead and putting up new drywall, installing can lights, new roof, and putting up new doors. I was most impressed by two things - 1) the open communication between us, and 2) the professionalism and politeness from George and his workers. Even little hiccups were properly communicated and worked out. I will definitely be working with them again.
Scott is an amazing guy to have around our house. A contractor would have cost a lot of money, but Scott gives the same quality if not better. He has built us a fence, tiled our kitchen floor, painted the outside of our house & has replaced some windows. Scott is a wonderful guy/contractor to have around & has been with my husband & I for a year now.
The project was for fascia boards to be repaired/replaced, wood fence repaired/painted, one exterior door replaced/installed, exterior house painted, and paint coatings on floor of balcony and backyard patio.
Working with Microresorts was a true pleasure. We were extremely lucky to find Elder through an old real estate agent and we couldn’t have been happier. Microresorts built 2 decks, concrete walls, a firepit, a fence with gates, and beautiful planters and also put in 2 irrigation systems, a drainage system, many plants, and a gas line to our firepit and grill. He also installed our hot tub including electrical. He also threw in some extra items that we didn’t expect which we needed to get done at some point. Before we even signed a contract, Elder drew up plans and showed us his fantastic ideas for our outdoor space. He put a lot of work into the plans and it was clear that his vision matched ours. His workers were considerate to our neighbors. Elder met all of our immediate neighbors and game them his contact info. He told our neighbors to call him if there were any issues. When the workers showed up at 9:30am on a Saturday, one of the neighbors complained (even though this was much later than the 8am that the local ordinance allows). Elder had the workers come even later on Saturday to accommodate our neighbor. The work was professionally done and looks amazing. Everyone who sees our space is astonished at the design and finishing work. Although the work took a little longer than the original estimate due to rain, it was completed as quickly as possible. It was well managed and there were no significant delays or problems. Elder dealt with us with respect even though we did change our minds on a couple of details after work started. He didn’t increase the price when we made changes even though we knew it would be a little more expensive for him (and we were willing to pay more). The hardscape is solid and we are not worried about maintenance anytime soon. We wanted a low maintenance house and he gave that to us. Overall, I can definitely say that we are extremely happy with Elder Jerez and Microresorts. We would definitely hire them again if we had any more work to do. Choosing Elder and Microresorts was an excellent decision and we recommend him highly.
This contractor (VP Craftman) was hired to install a 6-ft high; by 10-ft long "L-shaped" wooden fence w/gate at my mom's house for privacy and security purposes. He understood our needs and met every objectives that was asked of him in a timely manner. He is friendly, respectful and highly skilled with a very good working and professional attitude (takes pride in his work) who also went the extra mile to meet our needs. His creativity, performance and craftsmanship was very impressive, that earned him a FULL 5-STAR rating without a doubt. His work speaks for itself! I will definitely rehire this contractor again for my future work that I have planned. One more important thing I would like to say... "Good and honest contractors are hard to find"! I highly recommend VP Craftman for your next project.
Remarkable job on our kitchen. We knocked down a load bearing wall, and gave our kitchen a nice open layout. We are really happy with the cabinets and countertop, LED lighting, and tile work. Great value and quality
Johnny did a fantastic job putting together new patio furniture as well as a fire pit. He was on time, very kind and non-stop in getting the job done. He made sure to review where we wanted everything and then set up all perfectly. We are going to have Johnny back to help with a few other home projects. Great guy!
we contracted with Western Wood to demolish and remove an old deteriorating wooden deck. Then design and replace with larger redwood deck and built in seating and utility cabinet/bar/railing etc. and also a replacement fence post and large gate. Then they completely coated and sealed. They project was quoted promptly and reasonably after a significant meeting and discussion of the scope of what we wanted and expected. The project was started on time based on original quote and commitment. The quality of the materials and workmanship were very good and exactly in line with what was quoted and expected. The crew was there daily when expected and a partial site cleanup was done at the end of each day, The basic project came in at budget as quoted and all changes---adds or deletes we requested during project were always discussed in advance and quoted/negotiated fairly and reasonably. The one minor problem we had with small tile top on BBQ utility cabinet/bar---was resolved promptly and reworked to our satisfaction and at no cost to us. The owner Scott Nelson is personally involved in all aspects of a project and on site 95% of the time, He is a very detail oriented and a skilled wood craftsman who does very good workmanship. He is also creative and made several suggestions which improved the aesthetics and function of our deck/etc His small crew is courteous ,conscientious, and hard working. The only small problem we gad---was the schd. slipped out a little for completion---but most delays were due to Scott wanting the details to be correct and the quality to be better and some changes/mods we requested. And ultimately the quality and workmanship and good looks of the project outweighed the short delays. We would definitely recommend Scott and Western Wood for your wood working home improvement projects. He is knowledgeable, personable, and flexible and easy to work with.
