Wedding and Event Photography

Chris Waggoner photographed our wedding party and did a spectacular job of capturing our event. A few weeks before the event, we discussed what my wife and I wanted out of the images. I asked for a mix of group shots, portraits, and cinematic candids. At the event, he was totally engaged with our guests and did a fantastic job of navigating a crowded party. We are SO HAPPY with what he shot and he delivered everything we discussed in our initial conversation. Chris is a genuinely good dude and we are so fortunate that he was a part of our celebration. Super professional + super talented + super nice. Would hire him again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much, Chris!

Portrait Photography

Chris was exactly what we were looking for in an engagement photographer! He was prompt in responding in the planning process and gave very helpful suggestions like time of day and location. When we arrived to the shoot (below freezing and outside), Chris still took the time to get the best shots even though his fingers must have been falling off. You can definitely tell that he has a passion for his work and is dedicated to making sure he gets as many of the best shots as he possibly can. He got back to us with our digital images in the exact time he had said he would and the pictures were perfect. We would definitely recommend Chris Waggoner Photography.

Engagement Photography

Chris had great communication setting up the engagement photos in central park and afterwards took a bunch of family pictures of us and showed us central park which was great because we hadn't been there before. He was professional, engaging, funny and friendly. We felt comfortable working with him.

Wedding and Event Photography

Had engagement photos done by the Brooklyn bridge. I had not been to New York before and planning out the precise location & time seemed like it would be difficult, but Chris actually made it very easy! We shared locations on our phones and was able to locate us, capture the surprise and get some great shots! Would certainly recommend for anyone planning a surprise

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My standard headshot fee is $450 and that includes two edited headshots as well as an hour and a half of session time on location. For most other types of photography I have a two hour minimum of $350 dollars. Each additional hour is $175.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Before the client even steps in front of the camera I like to either meet with them in person or have a conversation over the phone. That way we have a rapport and can hit the ground running on the day of the shoot. I am very easy going and love to have fun during the shoot. For headshots I typically give the client scenarios or throw out words to get the gears in their head turning.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went to Penn State University and Studied Theatre, so I have first hand experience with what is needed out of a professional industry standard headshot. I know what its like to stress out about making sure I get every look that I need and the pressure that actors feel when they are looking for their next contract.

No problem: we have pros for every job.
