- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price each job individually by type of flowers, size of arrangements and vase selection. I try to work within the budget of each client and give suggestions on how to get what they want within their budget. Delivery and set up fees are sometimes waived depending upon location of the venue.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out details about the theme, location, colors and overall vision of each client's special day. It helps if a client has pictures similar to what they want. From there I get a vision for what the client wants and will create a sample for them to view. Together with the client I adjust the arrangement to the client's specifications. I like to have good communication with each client to insure each arrangement is specific to what they want from the flowers to the small details, i.e., ribbon; corsage pins/bands, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing floral arrangements on my own for in excess of 7+ years. I have taken classes, but overall use my natural eye/talent for creations I make.
