FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Of course! Along with being formally trained in film and digital photography, I regularly partcipate in local, national and international workshops, conventions and classes. I also am a mangaer of a collaborative space for artists in Salt Lake, so I regularly work and learn with dozens of local photographers and videographers. I do my best to stay up-to-date in the wonderful world of photography.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My mom gets a picture taken of me and my siblings every 6 months. When I was really little we went to Kiddie Kandids at the mall. After we got home I would set up a blanket as a backdrop and bribe my siblings to pose for my trusty disposible camera. Fast forward a bit and people started bribing me instead, so here we are.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common session is a business or actor headshot session. We generally shoot for an half an hour with a classic studio setup and then shoot for a half an hour in my natural light loft-style studio. Beyond that basic framework, no two shoots are the same.
