Ylva is very professional, attentive , and responsive. I was looking for a photographer for my 10 year old daughter for a photo session/head shots. Ylva was wonderful in answering my questions and concerns about the photo session and prices. When initially meeting with Ylva and her make up artist Juan Ramirez. They both welcomed us in a very professional and friendly manner. My daughter was extremely happy with the photo sessions and how she looked with her hair and make up. Thank you both. Ylva and her team took the very best photo of me for my book cover. It captured my personality, looked amazing, and has drawn so many people to the book. I am delighted with the photo shoot, which was tons of fun (versus the ones I've done previously) and with the results. She also worked with me in post-production to choose and touch up the final photo in Hi Res. Complete customer service!!!!

It is hard to find a good photographer in NYC, most claim to have experience but they don't. Fret no more: Ylva is the one and only photographer you need. I've been lucky enough to have a photoshoot with Ylva and have been beyond pleased with the results. Setting was incredible, responsiveness was as well and Ylva made me comfortable during the whole session teaching me tricks on how to better pose to have the best pictures!
I would greatly recommend her!

Ylva was terrific and got so many amazing shots that it was difficult to choose the best! She was flexible, worked with multiple settings and outfits, and created the professional photos I needed. She brought a make up artists and assistant and everything needed. I highly recommend her and her team.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Rates generally depend on what images are used for (private use or small company less and for advertising and larger companies rates go up) For students, start up and smaller companies I offer reduced rates. I am an expert in my field hence my rates might be higher than the average photographer on here, but the outcome will also be of higher quality. You get what you pay for!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a client reach out we exchange emails sorting out details of the shoot and look they are going for, and often times we have a quick phone call. I place a hold on my cal once we decide on a date, 3 days prior I ask for a 50% deposit to confirm the date and the balance is due upon end of shoot day. Clients can reschedule up to 24h prior to the shoot time.

2 year associate degree at Fashion Institute Technology in NYC.
