I was in town to attend a wedding, it was outdoors and 89 degrees. Sarah did a great job job on my makeup and hair. I also have a large scar on my face and she covered it beautifully. I’ve never had my hair last so long! She’s a real pro, would highly recommend!

I was nervous to use Thumbtack, especially for a big event/wedding, but I feel so lucky to have found Sarah on this platform! I originally hired her for my wedding (to do my MIL and mom), but after seeing her work on my mom (trial), I rehired her to do my make for me and my friend for my bridal shower. I got so many compliments on my look and felt so good. She is great and everything you want in a hmu artist: punctual, neat/organized (work space, makeup), communication (text), detail oriented (picture or verbal inspiration and she nails the look), listens to you and your vision, happy (bubbly personality/talkative/charismatic), and proud (so important to have someone that is proud of their work and wants you to look your best). I cannot say enough about Sarah! 🤍 She has become my new go to makeup and hair girl.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
i require a $75 deposit that is non-refundable (there are exceptions if i am at fault) and they are transferable if a reschedule is needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
i like to have a conversation about what their vision is, pricing, and game plan, setting expectations is important to me before meeting. i then do a trial run if requested and make the day of as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i attended the master course at makeup designory in burbank which was founded in 1997. it was a 6 month intensive course where i learned makeup, hair styling and special effects skills.
