Please find the steps for a New Client to Have a Document Notarized Initial Contact and Request: Reach Out: Contact John Heinz - Notary Public and Certified Signing Services via text, phone, or email to request notarization services. Provide Information: Share the details of the document(s) needing notarization, including the type of document and any specific notarial requirements. Receive Confirmation and Instructions: Assignment Details: John will confirm receipt of your request and provide you with details regarding the notarial service, including appointment availability, any specific instructions, and the notary’s contact information. Documentation Requirements: Confirm what identification and documents you need to prepare for the notarization. Prepare Required Documents: Gather Documents: Ensure that the document(s) requiring notarization are complete, with all necessary fields filled out except for the signatures. Identification: VERY IMPORTANT Prepare valid, government-issued photo IDs for all signers, as these will be required for identity verification during the appointment. All IDs must be valid. Schedule the Appointment: Coordinate with Notary: Work with John to schedule a convenient date and time for the notarization. This may involve setting up an appointment at a specific location or arranging for a mobile notary visit. Confirm Details: Confirm the appointment details, including the date, time, and location, to ensure everything is in order. Attend the Notarization Appointment: Meet the Notary: At the scheduled time, meet John Heinz at the agreed location or welcome him to your location if it is a mobile service. Verify Identity: Present your identification and any other required documents to John Heinz for verification. Sign Documents: Sign the documents in the presence of John Heinz (if needed). Ensure that all necessary signatures are made in the appropriate places. Notarization Process: Document Review: John will review the documents to ensure they are properly completed and that all required signatures are in place. Perform Notarial Acts: John will perform the necessary notarial acts (such as acknowledgment or jurat), affix his notarial seal, and sign the documents as required. Payment and Invoicing: Fee Structure: Discuss and confirm the fee structure with John before the appointment. Payment is typically handled directly with John or through Certified Signing Services, or directly with Thumbtack, depending on the arrangement.
