Angela gently guided me through the process of properly decluttering my wardrobe and being honest with myself about each item of clothing I owned and how it made me feel. I ended up with 15 trash bags full of clothes to donate to a local women’s shelter. Each item was thanked for what it did for me personally and sent on it’s way. What a difference that makes! Trust me when I say it MATTERS how you do this process. That’s where Angela comes in. She was meant to do this work! I am blessed to have had her as a guide.
My personal decluttering process was about declaring my self worth and making space for the things I truly want in my life. Like so many women I have spoken to in the past week, my closet was full of clothing that made me feel less than and caused me to continually shame my own body. This process was so emotional yet wildly freeing. Angela facilitates a safe space for you to dig deep within yourself and finally get rid of all of the crap that’s accumulated in your closet. I uncovered patterns of why I shopped for these “let go” items and in doing so I feel confident moving forward with only making intentionally purchases. I am literally a new woman because of this process. My closet is finally a reflection of my true self. When I pick out an outfit in the morning now it’s always right! Everything I own looks and feels great on me. I no longer have to try on several disappointing things in the morning or get discouraged just looking for something to wear. My closet is no longer a space of shame and guilt. It’s now a space of PURE JOY. It’s no wonder that her middle name has the word JOY in it.
