Lisa-Beth was extremely professional and is an expert in her field! I will recommend her to everyone! We had reached out to her as we needed a speech written for an executive. She responded to the opportunity immediately and was available and eager to assist. She made herself available to discuss whenever my team needed and provided so many quality samples. The best part was she made my entire team comfortable and reassured of her skills. I will definitely use her again in the future and would recommend others use her as well! She is the best!
When I came to the English lesson I barely understood English. Every day my speech was getting better and better. We understood each other. Wonderful Teacher:) Thank You Linda!
I came to Oliver at Verbal Ninja ahead of a big speech that had career and even life changing potential. I was speaking to a large group of fellow doctors, several of whom were what you might call “celebrity doctors.” Frankly, I wanted to upstage them. I myself have an acting background but have always had a lot of stage fright for public speaking. I worked with Oliver over the month leading up to the big event. I knew what I wanted to say, just not quite how to say it. He made my words sound like nothing I’ve ever heard before—yes, that good. Yet it still sounded like me…I felt comfortable and spontaneous. He sort of gave me the voice that I always thought I had inside, if that makes any sense. He also coached my delivery, voice, gestures, movement, eye contact, etc. etc. His tricks to conquer stage fright—especially the psychological aspect—are brilliant. The result? I think I killed it that night. Even my billionaire friend who came to see me said I spoke better than a lot of people he sees that speak on a regular basis. Even the owner of the company had this to say: “Thanks for everything, the event was great and we were very happy that you gave that speech, it was amazing! Not only the way you presented (like an actor) but also the content was very emotional, some tears were shed from Melissa.“ People came up to me afterwards and shared how I changed their view on aesthetics and really motivated them. All the “famous doctors” who spoke alongside me on the panel were super impressed as well. In short, Oliver came to me highly recommended. He leaves me even more highly recommended. If the stakes are high, he’s the guy.
Caroline helped me edit a speech I gave to a group of eighty women at a church retreat. Her comments were insightful. Working with her helped to clarify my thoughts and tighten my presentation.
I used to be intermediate level of English but after tutoring, I feel that my English improved to an advanced level. I can more properly use grammar in speech and in sentences. I am happy to say that I am now going to college and I really recommend tutoring. My experience was really good.
Michael tutored me while I was in the process of getting my Masters at Cal State Fullerton. I needed DESPERATE help in my conversational speaking and proficiency. Most times in public or during classes, people often didn't understand me. Even my Professors! This was SO humiliating. When I asked around, Michael was actually very highly recommended by certain groups of my friends from CSUF. We finally met for a 2-hour session, and by the end, when I went outside to walk to my apt, I suddenly felt like I experienced something amazing - it just felt so new, so good. Following our 2nd session, I realized that Michael was a real prodigy. Things I asked and found out about him was that he still entered recitals and competitions in classical piano, attended 2 grades his senior in mathematics (but didn't care for it), seemed to know and analyze every book I was familiar with, etc. He seems to have a gift of being able to systematize or track my personal progress: From exactly where I stood & precisely what to do next, and even know if I did the past week's assignments (dedicated I was & how much I should have improved). Michael DOES know the very best, quickest, & most efficient ways of surpassing my goals, but though he is genuinely one of the greatest motivators I have heard (explaining precisely why this or that is so essential) he cannot do the work outside for me. But as our sessions continued, I WANTED to dedicate myself to all of Michael's assignments, and this time for myself, esp coming from an extremely high achieving and wealthy family (me being the highest achiever). Michael also taught me that giving thought to my ultimate goals, that the greater they are realistically, the BETTER you will naturally double your progress, and only now I see how important this was. America has the best opportunities, because it's so free & independent. And I feel that I can be much, much more than I am right now! I have never had such feeling like this ever before in my life, where I feel I can do anything! And with everything I learned from Michael the necessary knowledge, wisdom, dedication, and now the full independent ability to continue my conversational proficiency, I KNOW that there is nothing I cannot learn on my own now. He just reviewed the pure strategies that could take me to as high a level of complete conversational speaking as I desired, and that the strategies/techniques were now a part of me (which they were). That was our last session. During earlier ones, I learned to be totally fearless, and to not even care about what other people thought of me. The first time that I have ever experienced this in my life. The reason this occurred is because I was now so trusting of Michael's assignments. So it happened very naturally. MY CONCLUSION Out of all countless tutors I've ever had, I would say that Michael is probably the best Tutor I have ever had well, without a doubt, he has helped me the most, and even in every area of my life. But this is subjective, so I will qualify it by saying that in my opinion, Michael is the best tutor I have ever had, and this includes the numerous Professional Tutors I had since I was a child all the way up to now. This may be difficult to believe, but he even has an extremely well-deserved reputation among certain academic circles among CSUF graduates which, to me, is completely unheard of for any Professional Tutor. In fact, my friends at CSUF went through very similar experiences when he Professionally Tutored them in their different academic subjects, such as Writing, Reading Comprehension, Proofreading, and Editing. It's difficult to write a short review when you're so enthusiastic, but Michael just cared so much about me and my improvement until I'm where I am now. I feel like my whole life is so positively changed, and that my new ability to speak, my confidence, and potential are now totally endless - I can freely do whatever I'd like to do and pursue any dream, no matter how difficult!
Wonderful! Fantastic! Adam custom wrote the funniest material for events I was involved in for my 50th class reunion, and he also wrote humorous paragraphs for a reunion booklet about each classmate, and it was an unforgettable classic that everyone loved! Adam is the best, and I would hire him over and over.

I can do everything I ask my clients to do. I prefer to focus on things that are measurable. Sometimes coaches spend valuable time talking about ideas and never applying those ideas to a client's speech or voice. The human voice is always exciting and always unique. It is the basis of every story that has ever been told (After all, speaking came before the written word). It is an honor to be around people that want to improve their voice. These people are leaders, they are rebels, they are healers. And, in some cases, they are all three at once (MLK comes to mind).
Services offered: - Speech and language evaluation and treatment services for children - Foreign accent modification training for adults - Developmental screenings - Parenting classes - Preschool screenings - Contracts with private schools
