Ashley's Numbers

I graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Theater Studies and achieved 5's on AP Calculus and Statistics. I'm currently a math tutor and bookkeeper in the Los Angeles area. I also tutored with the Princeton Review for 2 years and worked as an elementary school substitute teacher for 3 years in New Castle County (Delaware). I have been teaching all my life, and I attribute it to - dance! Since the age of 12, I volunteered as a dance teacher in Chester, PA, working with kids who mostly had no experience in dance. I would choreograph for elementary music concerts, often teaching the teacher the dance first so she could teach it to the students. My love of dance and my desire to share it with others have taught me how to adjust my pace, analyze my student's difficult areas, and drill, baby, drill! Math topics I handle include Fractions, Decimals, Geometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Calculus AB, & Calculus BC. Do you need help memorizing facts for a History test, or nailing down those Grammar rules for an English quiz? I'm a great study companion. I look forward to working with you!
