FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have a standard pricing system for my services. But I am very fair with how I gauge the price for any given project. If someone will do it as well, and cheaper, I will match that price or give you a better one.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I start a new project it's all about what the customer wants. Once I understand what they're looking for, we can either collaborate creatively, or I can take the wheel and you trust my instincts. I can work independently or on a team, and I love to hash ideas out and see what comes of it. Each project is unique. As the project is developed and worked on, I keep the client updated with samples of the work, all the way until I've finished and the client has exactly what they were looking for when they hired me. Everyone is satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been using cameras and writing stories since I was 10. I'm college educated (Santa Barbara City College - Film Production), but most importantly I'm self-taught. With a variety of different freelance jobs under my belt, whether it's docu-style filmmaking or shooting cocktails for a new bar in DTLA, I've learned that it's all about getting out there and shooting. And that's exactly what I've done ever since I learned what a photograph was.
