- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $115 an hour, but I extend a 15-percent discount for an upfront payment of a monthly retainer and a 20-percent if 40 hours are exceeded in a month.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take classes in different types of writing and I study to improve my grammar and writing skills.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I came to writing naturally. My dad was a writer and I grew up in his advertising and publishing company. My mom was an English teacher. The only other profession I might have chosen would be to teach writing because there's a lot of need out there. I still might.
