- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, several times a year we have educational classes from different resources for both hair and makeup services.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a very artistic background. I have always loved to color, draw, paint, do my own makeup and hair, and most of all, would always cut my dolls hair. When I ran out of dolls and barbies to cut, I moved on to my mothers porcelain doll collection. I would climb up carefully to take them down and put them back when I finished. I always thought my mother never noticed, until she told me as an adult she noticed every time. She still has all of the dolls to this day that she said she kept as keepsakes to show me in the future, knowing I would end up in the hair and makeup industry.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Traditional, classic, drama or sexy. We provide many looks for many different types of events.
