- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I include a travel fee in my quotes. I charge $1 per mile for any location that is more than 40 miles away from me. For example, if you're 50 miles away from Los Gatos, I will include an extra $50 in your quote to cover any travel-related expenses. I also provide a referral discount. If you have been referred by a previous client or referred a client to me, I will discount my quote by 15%.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you are booking a session with me I would love to chat with you a little bit before the date of the shoot, either a phone call or a coffee date. I want you to become comfortable with me and I would like to get to know you so we can work well together. This is especially important with weddings and engagement sessions! Getting to know you ahead of time helps you get the best photos possible and make sure that we're on the same page with what you want to get out of our session together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a BFA in Film Production in 2018 from The University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. While I was there I took extensive course work in cinematography.
