Replaced 12 outlets and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, Milton was thorough in his communication and quick to respond to messages. He arrived with his son and the two of them worked efficiently, kept things clean, and charged a fair price. One of the GFI outlets in my kitchen stopped working two days ago. It was on the same circuit with three other outlets so they all stopped working. I used the Thumbtack app on my phone to find an electrical contractor on 9/5. Thumbtack's AI assistant said they would put me in touch with three electrical contractors and provided me with the company names. Milton at Cabrera Electrical Service responded within a minute of my Thumbtack post. The other two contractors identified by Thumbtack have still not responded (more than two days later). Milton and his colleague arranged to come to my home on a Holiday (Labor Day). They identified the issue - a 43-year old GFI outlet that had simply stopped working due to age, which I attempted to repair myself, but only made the situation worse by wiring it incorrectly. Milton and his colleague replaced all eight 43-year old outlets in my kitchen including those behind the refrigerator and stove and one under the sink. They did this work in a professional manner at a reasonable cost. They also vacuumed the accumulated dust from under the refrigerator and, swept the floor and cleaned all the debris, wiring and dust off my kitchen counters. I was very pleased with their overall work and recommend them to anyone in the need of residential electrical repair work.

Milton and his assistant did a great job adding wiring for our new TV, mounting the TV, installing a ceiling fan and moving around some light switches and sconces. The wiring in our home is 100 years old and the walls are lath and plaster – which makes everything more difficult. Milton ran new wiring through the attic for each fixture and patched up all of the plaster when they were done. I really appreciated how nicely they cleaned up when they were done. We plan to use Milton for more projects in the future.
