Faith E. says, "Rose was just the editor I didn't know I needed. She is proficient in English, has great work quality, and brings great value to the Author and manuscript. She went above and beyond making suggestions to improve the spacing of characters, timeline, and cohesiveness of my 50,000 words memoir. Much of my sentences were run-off sentences. She had a level of attention to detail that elevated my book. She guided me and together we improved sentences to make them flow enabling the paragraphs to be clearer and more effective. There is great value, tips given to improve my writing ability as well as helpful publishing resources. She is nonjudgmental and meets the author where they are in their writing and take their work to professionalism. I truly admired her ability to keep the author's voice throughout the story, while improving the quality of the manuscript. We are all working on a story that we hope will inspire the world. So, you have started writing your story only to feel frustrated, or stuck on the right grammar, or word to say. You are concerned about the spelling, and you try to make it all make sense you began to feel overwhelmed. This part of the writing process was where I found myself after writing my 50,000 words memoirs for over ten years. Fast forward. after trying to work with multiple editors with no positive result. I began concern. Until I found Rose on Thumbtack and she restore my faith in the editor and the writing process with her critical yet caring nature. She will give your work readability and flow. I am learning that writing is a team effort. It starts with you the author and next finding a great editor with killer skills in the English writing format. You will not find an editor who will care for your work as much as you do Roes. Rose is the best to work with and I cannot wait to work with her on the next book! Thank you once again for a job well done!"See more

Hello, I'm Chloe! I fell in love with books before I could read. Some of my earliest memories are of folding sheets of paper into tiny books, fascinated by the way stories could come to life. Since then, that fascination has grown into a love of both writing and editing. I’m a Nashville-based editor studying Editorial Publishing at Belmont University, where I’ve developed experience working with small publishers and freelance editors. I approach every project with empathy, curiosity, and enthusiasm, and I love helping authors bring their stories to their fullest potential. While much of my professional experience is in nonfiction memoir, I also have a soft spot for speculative fiction, middle grade, and young adult literature. As an author currently writing my own young adult fantasy novel, I understand both the excitement and vulnerability of sharing your work with an editor. Here are my credentials: - B.S. in Editorial Publishing at Belmont University (in progress), 4.0 UW - Editor for the nationally recognized Belmont Story Review - More than 250 hours of copyediting and proofreading experience across ten manuscripts for Abingdon Press - Subcontracted as a proofreader for freelance editors - Experienced with style sheets, Track Changes, file cleanup, editing macros, and Adobe Acrobat - Proficient in The Chicago Manual of Style and Associated Press (AP) style - Member of the Editorial Freelancers Association When I'm not editing, you'll usually find me writing fiction, practicing fiber arts, drawing, tending to my garden, or taking care of my cats and my African dwarf frog.See more
