- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer fixed fees on most cases, so you will not be charged by the hour. That way, you know what you will pay and that price won't increase over time. There will be no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everything begins with an initial consultation, which can be either be in-person or by telephone if you prefer. This is the most basic way for a client to explain to me what they are looking for and I can then explain how I can help. In a criminal case, for instance, I will talk to my clients and their families about what to do when someone has been arrested, what their rights are and what to expect in the upcoming court appearances. In a bankruptcy case, I can explain how we can stop wage garnishments and foreclosures and wipe out credit card debt. No matter what your legal issue is, you will receive hands-on representation from me. I encourage clients to communicate directly with me, whether by phone, email, or in person.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended law school in San Diego, California, at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where I graduated summa cum laude at the top of my class. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I have been a licensed attorney in California and practicing for twenty years.
