Chef Herb and his crew arrived on time at our house. He prepped the food quickly and efficiently, while simultaneously turning our empty entertaining area into a very attractive food festival. He stayed as long as he was needed (we had an afternoon gathering for about 4 hours) and Herb and crew cleaned up neatly before leaving. His food got many enthusiastic compliments, both of how delicious everything was and how beautiful the presentation was. Herb called us a few times before the gathering, checking in to make sure everything was ok, and keeping the communication open, which we definitely appreciated. We did not know Herb before we hired him, but we know him and his crew and trust them now, and we will definitely hire him again when needed. An added bonus - he is a very nice, caring guy that sincerely wants to make everyone happy. The only negative was OUR ineffective air conditioner on the party day. In spite of working in an unusually hot kitchen, he and his team worked calmly and quickly. (I'd have been screaming!) He knows how to work under stress and perform with last minute emergency changes. We were totally impressed.

The best recommendation I can give is that I would hire Marina Catering again in a heartbeat. Herb and his assistant Stephanie were prompt, did exactly what they said they were going to do, professional, gracious, interacted with our guests, and most importantly the food was absolutely delicious. We threw a party for sixteen guests, and Herb prepared about five different dishes and two different desserts, all pre-planned with input. He served it on "tapas" style plates, so that the food flowed throughout the evening. The guests loved it! It wasn't just food, it was theater! Meanwhile, besides assisting Herb, Stephanie played bartender and made sure all my guests glasses were filled with their libation of preference, usually before they even realized they were empty. Kudos to Marina Catering. They are now my go to caterers.

He was a mind blowing experience as a chef, communication and follow through. He made my day a true success and I felt at ease knowing he was in charge. He not only did the chef portion but also acted as an event planner helping with organization of the evening activities. I felt like I made a friend with this man forever and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a chef or catering services.

Herb was amazing! Couldn't recommend him more. He was on top of everything and everyone raved about the gourmet food he prepared. Every piece he prepared was eaten with gusto and people even craved and asked for more. I did a lot of research price wise too and encountered places that wanted four times as much as what he charged. Thoroughly professional and even the host talked about how well he came prepared and how perfectly he cleaned up before he left. I know a few of my friends are now planning parties just to use him again. Thanks Herb!

Had him scheduled for Halloween Party and he backed out at the 11th hour at 1 o'clock the day before. He would not listen to our request for the that we wanted catered and kept telling us these elaborate ideas. We just wanted finger foods. If you use him you WILL be sorry! If he even shows!!!!

Customer was very difficult change the menu twice it was first a gourmet menu and then it turned into a kids Halloween party not my forte. sorry to you RON C that you changed Your mind ...👨‍🍳🌿😊✌️
