My project started out nice. The contractor showed up promptly and was very professional for the quote. His prices were reasonable and it sounded promising. Shortly after the project began it went downhill. I had asked to have a curb of concrete later around my pool for a fence. He bored the holes completely crooked and forced my fence around my pool to be loose and defeat the purpose of a fence. My kids could literally walk through the gaps between piles because it was so crooked. There were two men standing talking while drilling instead of taking care of the job and making the holes straight. If one stood back and said lean forward, lean backwards, the fence wouldn’t ridiculous and worthless. Soon after the job was completed I had to redo the whole fencing and bore the holes properly. If I wanted to do the fence myself I wouldn’t have paid a contractor to do it wrong the first time. About a month later I contacted the company due to a leaking pipe under my patio that they were supposed to remove. They never removed the pipe, never sealed/capped the pipe, just poured right over it. Now my patio floods when the sprinklers are turned on. I specifically told him to remove the pipe and he never did. Now my concrete is cracking, it has lifted about an inch, and my grass is dying because I can’t water. It has now been three months of me trying to get a hold of him to come out and fix the problem. This was horrible work at best. The concrete is crooked I already have cracks. It’s been 6 months. The fence was wrong. I’ve seen a lot of finish work not completed on the edges. it just looks bad. I would not recommend Unique Concrete, Inc. owned by Eddie Rochin to anybody at anytime!
