Introduction: We are a design/build company. From a small project to a complete home remodel, we can assist in the process of design and build. We have a kitchen and bath designer on staff and we have designed many whole house remodels. We can pull the full set of plans together that are required for permits. As a licensed contractor and designer, we can work with the client to complete the design work while keeping the budget in check. Why work with an architect to design a remodel to later find out by the contractor that the design is over budget. This happens all to often. As a licensed contractor we perform many of the subcontractors jobs. We do the framing, electrical, plumbing, window/door install, and all finish wood trim work. This allows me to make sure everything will come together properly at the end of the project. I hire subcontractors to do tile, concrete, drywall, and painting. Because these finishing touches are important to look fantastic, you want a subcontractor that only does that type of work everyday. Recently designed and implemented a grey water system for a whole house remodel. The grey water system consists of water collection from the laundry room, bathroom sinks, showers, and tubs. The grey water system excludes toilets and kitchen sink. There are electronic valves that allow the homeowner to turn either the laundry room off or the entire system off (divert water back to the sewer line). We love designing and building the dreams for your new home. Our focus is always on finding the best solutions that work within your budget and time frame.

We were extremely pleased with Buck's work on our house remodel. From the moment we started working with him and the initial quote, we could tell Buck had excellent organizational skills and was very detail-oriented. As our project progressed, he proved to be extremely reliable keeping the scope and timeline of our remodel according to our contract. Our project was a bit of a challenge in the sense that we wanted to live in our house for as long as we could while he was remodeling it. Buck displayed a great level of flexibility to accommodate us and worked in the most efficient manner to keep us as long as possible in the house. He also displayed a great sense of creativity when problems arose, which they will in any given project. Buck was extremely committed to and enthusiastic about our project and if we had to ever go through a remodel again, we would hire him without any hesitation.

We serendipitously found Buck and Maryanne when we bought a couch from them off of Craigs List. We were impressed with their home and when we found out that Maryanne was the designer and Buck the contractor we asked them to come up to our newly purchased former llama ranch. They renovated an upstairs bathroom and a guest annex in the barn (used by the former owners as their primary residence while they built the main house). They did a wonderful job. Right on time and within the budget Buck is a perfectionist and his work is of very very high quality. They are both easy to work with. Never any problems with liens from subcontractors, missed timelines, exploding budget. They easily accounted for all expenses and billing items. When he would leave, the place was immaculate. We hope to have them come back for yet another project - the master bath which needs remodeling.

Buck and Maryanne are amazing! In Phase 1, we gutted 2 rooms, took out a fireplace and turned the rooms into the room we spend most of our days and nights in. They made it look incredibly easy, had wonderful suggestions and advice, and the project was completed with skill and precision. Simultaneously, we gutted the master bathroom, which is fantastic now. Well lit, beautiful and works for us. Phase 2, was the building of a 2nd story guest room. Buck is amazing, he knows how to do anything and everything, and if he doesn't, he knows how to find the person who does. It was a HUGE pleasure working with them and we miss them now that our projects are complete!!!!

Buck showed up on time, evaluated my project and gave me a bid. It was fair and he completed the job within the agreed upon time frame. He was neat and considerate of our household. After it was all done he took away all the scraps. Buck provided references, which I appreciated. The job looks great, no surprises. I would use him again.

This is typically unique because all projects are different and the selection of finishes can have a big impact on cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First site visit and consultation is free. Typically sign a 1 page contract for design services. Once design work is completed, there is a separate contractor for the construction phase.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have performed many major remodels (complete gut of the house including structural) and completely rebuilt the house. This includes redoing all the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, windows, doors, exterior siding, insulation & drywall. We have a kitchen and bath designer on staff and the owner originally started out his career in architecture.
