This class was great, Nav (as he likes to be called) took the time to explain to me the different poses. I am new to Yoga and he took great care to ensure my posture was correct at every moment. Nav always reminds us to listen to our bodies during practice, he tries to make the class adaptable for practitioners from all backgrounds. Which is great because I didn't have any background in Yoga. He won't tell you but he is also a former US Marine, all around great class and nice guy.

Nav is a great yoga instructor who really pays attention to the needs of his clients. He brings a relaxing, meditative, and blissful mood to every class he leads. I especially like how he incorporates all senses by bringing a bell and incense to every class.

Nav is a nice teacher. I took a class with him, Yoga by the Lake. His voice is calm and perfect for teaching. I like the fact that he's humble; he thanked us for coming to the class, when it was a gift to us! I'm not new to Yoga, but I haven't been consistent with it. He told the class how to do modified moves, which was very helpful. He also ran a bell/bowl(?) And I had never seen that during a Yoga class before, but it was cool. I will probably take a class with him again.

Nav is a great punctual and helpful instructor for the relaxation yoga classes at UC Merced. The classes go for an hour but a lot is taught through out the class. He ensures everyone that they can go at their own pace and alter poses so that they are doing what is most comfortable to them. Every week he comes in with a positive attitude, welcoming vibe, and brings something new to teach the class. When he brings out the Tibetan singing bowl at the end, it really helps people get in that relaxation mode. At the end of class, I feel so relaxed and I am pretty much ready to fall asleep. I would recommend this class to other people.
