S & M did a great job assessing our broken old sprinkler system and installing a new and efficient one. Scott explained everything very clearly, step by step, so we knew exactly what the problems were and how they were going to fix them. Then he and Richard got the job done. The new system works great! Great multi-generational family owned business. We inherited a bit of a mess on the irrigation setup in our new home. They identified the issues, put together a reasonable proposal and did what they said they would. They also provided a lifetime warranty on the work for as long as we own the house. So, we know all the foundational elements of our system are not going to cost a penny more. Highly recommend.

After my initial contact, I was set up with an appointment for the following day. My sprinkler controller had failed after 20 years. Scotty diagnosed the problem and contacted his brother, Richard, who was able to bring a new controller within about an hour. I mentioned to them that we had a number of problems with our 20 year old sprinklers. They tested everything, and suggested a water-saving drip system to prevent all of the runoff we were experiencing. They returned several days later with a larger crew and completed the work they had suggested for the front yard. Scotty kept us informed of everything they were doing. He explained that all of their work has a guarantee for as long as we, or our heirs, own the house. This is a family business in the 2nd generation. They are a pleasure to work with, and we plan to have them do our backyard next.

Although the reviews for S&M were almost to good to be true, I decided to call them. Scotty arrived on time, listened (really listened) to my explanation of the problem, provided solutions with details on the how and why without being condescending. His knowledge about sprinkler systems is impressive. Scotty and Richard were prompt, did the work and kept me updated with status during the day. They installed anti siphon valves, a shut off valve (that won’t get buried underground never to be found again), a pressure regulator along with a drip filter reducer.
