FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a one-hour assessment with an in-depth interview where we will have time to discuss past medical history, any injuries, and potential concerns. During the assessment, I perform a thorough biomechanical assessment to see your movement biases or restrictions. This time will be used to establish a solid plan moving forward so you can reach your goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a board-licensed Physical Therapist holding a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). I am also licensed with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). My proudest accomplishment is my credentialling with the Postural Restoration Institute, as a Postural Restoration Certified (PRC®). There are less than 250 PRC's in the world, and the science of Postural Restoration is the backbone of my treatment philosophy.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 2018, I began studying with the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) to find more answers for my complex clients that weren’t getting results from traditional physical therapy treatment. I use treatment techniques from PRI to help people relieve pain, feel more grounded in their bodies, and move without restriction. The foundation of PRI science is natural human asymmetries, particularly in the respiratory and nervous systems, that can become over-compensated and lead to pain and dysfunction. I continue to be captivated by the improvements and positive changes my clients are able to make by committing to the process of Postural Restoration with my guidance.
