What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on an hourly fee of $50 with a minimum of hours. I do estimate work but on a project basis and what the project consists of. I do provide discounts for new and senior citizens all depending on the project and price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally work with anyone on an as is basis and do not discriminate on race, religion, sex, or orientation. I will also inform the customer what to expect from me and what is expected from them and also do this in writing. A deposit is always required to begin a project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a high school graduate. I have apprenticed in construction, welding, fabrication and mill wright trades reaching journey level craftsmanship in all areas. I have been in construction in various trades for over 30yrs.
I have been doing handyman services since 1980 on and off and just recently have been doing this as a full time business for 2yrs.
