I got a lot of pointers on the basics of playing the guitar well, and he was helpful in giving suggestions on what to practice on my own. I never had an intention of setting a strict schedule to meet, and he was very accommodating of it, communicating in advance when he could hold lessons.

Sedat is a one of a kind music teacher that for the last couple of years has been teaching guitar and piano to my kids (6 and 8) and my husband. He's great with kids -- patient and encouraging, and can pivot to teaching adults just as easily. Sedat organizes an annual Bay area wide recital which shows off everyone's hard work and is such a memorable experience. Thank you Sedat!!

I have been working with Sedat for a while. Befor starting with Sedat, I've been looking for a teacher who can not only improve my knowledge of music theory, but also who can show me how the theory applies to improving my guitar playing and enable me to move beyond the pentatonic scale. Sedat is a very patient teacher. He is enjoyable to work with. He is great at teaching no matter how much experience you have. He has great teaching skills and is incredibly talented.
