Jeff has been an amazing hire! He has done several jobs for us:
1) Installation of new window trims and sills: He added new window trims throughout our entire home. Every window had previously been replaced / upgraded to dual panes, but their look after installation lacked sills and looked "industrial". Jeff came in and gave them a beautiful facelift by trimming them all around and even adding a window sill to each window, which was not present with the new windows. It was just the track but no sill. Now, all our windows have sills and our cat loves jumping up there and viewing the birds!
2) New trim to all our indoor doors, to match the windows! He the same trim to all our doors; and now, the doors and window trims match!
3) Installation of new floor board / trim around the bottom of our hardwood floors and it look so much prettier than the generic molding that most homes have.
4) Designed and built a closet for our aging dad, so he could "reach" the pole to hang or get his clothes from the closet. It even included hooks and shelves that were elevated but low enough for Dad to use. He placed his towels, tissues, slippers, and books on these shelves. Jeff even included motion sensor lighting that would turn on lights anytime dad approached the closet. This was key to functionality for an aging senior.
5) Installation of shiplap and custom shelves; completion of a bathroom remodel for my dad. This included "attractive" grab bars and didn't make the bathroom look too "geriatric" or hospital-like".
My dad was so very appreciative of Jeff's handiwork for this final chapter of his life. Jeff made it special for all of us. My dad loved Jeff. The best thing was that Dad was never "put out" of his room for too long. Jeff worked around Dad's needs and schedules, and was the least disruptive as possible. He cleaned up each day to make it safe for Dad and the job was done very quickly.
Jeff is kind, trustworthy, and I will hire him again anytime I need custom work done. He is knowledgable AND creative. He is a good problem solver and will work within your budget. Don't hesitate. He is so talented and you'll love his work, and his work ethic, and his prices are always fair. He is flexible with your time and will understand your needs. On a personal level, Jeff is also a musician, sings, plays guitar and drums, and loves dogs! (or pets of any kind!) He is a good person, period. My husband and I recommend him without hesitation.
