I was in an emergency situation, I had lost my only set of car keys at work and was not able to move my car to have another one made. My key has a chip in it to start the car. Joe, from American Locks & Keys, came to my workplace and made me another key. Not only did he make me one key but I was given a discount on a second key, which I jumped on the opportunity! Had I known that I could have a regular locksmith make my key and that I didn’t have to go through the dealership, which would have costs me almost twice the price for one than I paid for two, I would have done this sooner. I highly recommend them for your locksmith needs. A bunch of my coworkers will be contacting them soon to have spares made. Thank you Joe for your great work and service! I can't recommend Joe highly enough! He arrived right on time and took the extra time to thoroughly assess our tricky door lock situation. Joe came to my house promptly as we agreed on the next day. I had three 35 year old door locks and deadbolts that were not working well. He took them all apart, fixed 2 and replaced one that was broken. And made me 5 extra keys. He did an excellent job.
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Before we accept the job, we will always do our best to get all the information we need from the customer, so we provide the most accurate quote before we go meet the customer. Our prices are compatible with the industry average.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As mentioned before. We first gather information on the customer's project. Once we analyze what the customer needs, we give recommendations, after the recommendations we give the final quote. Once the customer agrees to our prices and quotation, we then, ask to schedule the job and provide ETA updates when enroute.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our technicians hold ar least an Associate college degree and highly trained on vehicle key programming.
