Hok and his team deserve immense gratitude for beautifully capturing our special day. From start to finish, our experience with Hok was nothing short of fantastic. Our family and guests have been raving about him ever since the wedding, and I couldn't agree more. He even made my Dad laugh, which is not an easy task. Right from our initial meeting, Hok exuded professionalism and friendliness. It was immediately clear that he was not just a photographer but also someone who genuinely cared about making our day perfect. He had a great sense of humor, which put us at ease and made the entire process enjoyable. One of the things that stood out most about Hok was his creativity and expertise. He made countless suggestions for different poses and shots, and it was evident that he had a wealth of experience in capturing weddings. His guidance was invaluable, and it helped us feel more confident in front of the camera. When we received our wedding photos, we were absolutely blown away. Every single image was a work of art, most filled with vibrant colors, and others were artistically converted to black and white, which truly brought our day to life. I wholeheartedly endorse hiring Hok!!

We had a wonderful experience working with Hok for our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner/ Sangeet/ Mehendi Raat photos, and wedding photos. From the first time we met Hok, we felt very comfortable with him, and he always made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (which is hard since we don't like being photographed generally!). His years of experience show and he has shot all over the Bay Area- he gave us suggestions for locations for our Sangeet and ideas for videographers, going above and beyond his photographer duties. We appreciated how he shot the diversity of our two families and traditions. His photographs are so incredibly beautiful, whether capturing a lehenga/sari or a white wedding dress, an individual portrait or a group dancing. He finds a great balance of getting great posed shots that look still look natural and candid shots that capture everyone's individuality. Our guests keep complementing us on our photographer, and we recommend him to all our friends and family. We will definitely use Hok again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone on Thumbtack looking for a talented, experienced, and creative photographer.

This review is overdue for the amazing Hok. Don’t think twice about hiring him! He and his team will go out of their way to make sure your pictures are everything you’ve dreamed of! We initially did our engagement photos with him at City Hall and those turned out absolutely beautifully – we used them for our website and invites. On wedding day, he and Greg came super early and left super late going above and beyond the hours we hired them for. Hok is such a pleasure to work with – you can tell he really enjoys photographing weddings and exudes such dedication, warmth and humor that it doesn’t make you feel weird at all to be photographed. I would seriously give him more stars if I could. Hire Hok and his team!

Hok is a great photographer! He is truly passionate about photography, and he is a joy to be around. I think he really helps to bring out the best in people and captures some amazing shots. We first used him for our engagement pictures, then wedding pictures, and we were so impressed, we recently hired him for our baby announcement pictures. He's definitely open to suggestions too. We had some ideas for themes and angles and locations and he's always willing to go for it. Hok is great! I highly recommend him! He was always on time and always very dependable. I think he goes above and beyond, not just technically, but with his artistic interpretation of moments. I think he just does a lot of extra details that you wouldn't find from someone competing in his price range. My maid of honor recently had a wedding and she chose a different photographer who had absolutely terrible photos compared to Hok's. Hok is amazing! Good luck with your event! Hok will be a great choice, you won't regret it!
