Introduction: I have drawn influence from several sources over the past 19 years from fields not limited to metal work. From the time I began working metal professionally I allowed it to consume my waking hours and dedicated myself to making the highest quality products I could. It is far more important to me that the piece be beautiful as well as technically correct than be just a job that gets finished. No matter what the project is from a simple picture frame to a work of organic sculpture it should be the finest quality it can be.
Metal can be anything. Metal can be worked like putty and hold up a building. Metal can be soft or cold. My job is to be an extension of the clients own ability. I spend all day every day learning and relearning how to manipulate the material , to make it in to whatever we need it to be. Being such a versatile a material I find myself working on a wide variety of projects ranging from structural welding, to monumental public sculptures. Welding structural beams, plates, and bridges I use my AWS D1.1 certification and some times even on the same job I will be interpreting an artists concept and working closely with them to realize their maquett a full size 30 foot monument. It is much the same working with interior designers and the general public. I know the metal, you know what you want together we will have a finished product.
