FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is fairly moderate for high quality work. Each job is unique and will have different pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Atlas General Construction, we believe that a successful project begins with clarity, effective communication, and genuine care. Here’s what you can expect when you work with us: 1. Initial Consultation We begin with a phone or Zoom call to understand your vision, goals, and timeline. This helps us determine the best approach and whether additional site visits or assessments are needed. 2. On-Site Visit & Scope Review For remodels, additions, and ADUs, our VP of Construction or a senior project manager meets you at the property to review the current conditions, discuss options, and answer questions. This ensures we understand the full scope before providing pricing. 3. Detailed Estimate & Transparent Pricing You’ll receive a comprehensive, itemized estimate that clearly outlines labor, materials, allowances, and timeline expectations. We take the time to walk you through every line so nothing feels confusing or hidden. 4. Design & Planning (If Applicable) If architectural plans are needed, we either work with your architect or pair you with one of our trusted design partners. We also coordinate structural engineering, Title 24, and city plan submissions when required. 5. Contract Signing & Scheduling Once the scope and budget are finalized, we prepare a clear contract with milestones and payment schedules. Your project is then placed into our construction calendar. 6. Pre-Construction Walkthrough Before work begins, we review logistics, material selections, site protection, and expectations so everyone is aligned. 7. Construction Phase Your dedicated project manager and site supervisor oversee the work daily. We maintain open communication through calls, updates, photos, and scheduled walkthroughs to ensure you always know what’s happening. 8. Quality Checks & Inspections We handle city inspections, trade coordination, and internal quality checks to ensure the work meets code, safety standards, and your expectations. 9. Final Walkthrough & Completion Once the project is complete, we walk through the space together, address any final touch-ups, and ensure you’re fully satisfied with the outcome. 10. Post-Project Support Even after completion, we remain available for questions, adjustments, and future projects. Our relationship with clients doesn’t end when the job does.
