I was in need of a graphicdesigner to help with some last minute designs for a professional event in less than one week. I downloaded this app for the first time and posted what I needed. I also accidentally sent the request to Xiang (not knowing what I was doing as I was clicking from one page to another). He responded very quickly, and continued to be very responsive, which is a huge plus in my book. I explained the project to him through messaging late that evening and he turned around some ideas the very next day for my thoughts. Considering this project required approval on all details by my boss (who will always make additional changes until the very last minute), it was frustrating trying to land on something that was a home run. I felt bad having to make Xiang restart everything from scratch, but he was very patient and understanding throughout the whole process and did whatever made me happy. He was not shy to express his thoughts, but never overstepped. We eventually landed on all of the details and the final work product is simply amazing. His attention to detail is on another level. He met our very short internal deadline and most importantly, he was just a great person so work with. I plan to reach out to him again in the future for professional and personal projects. Hopefully he doesn’t reject me based on what I put him through over the last few days.
I would share a photo of what he worked on for me, but some of the content is confidential. I would recommend Xiang to anyone who does not want to be disappointed.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First of all I will start with sending out a creative brief with some simple questions to my clients. It includes some questions about their ideas and thoughts on the project and what is the brand message of their company. And next I will develop some ideas based on the brief and turn the ideas into rough sketches. Then I will turn the best idea into actual digital sketch and develop the actual design with colors. The final step will be fixing on details and send the result back to clients.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Styles, color scheme, pictures of examples of preference, or even bullet points of the thoughts with simple words would help professionals develop the best design for the project.
