This review is super late, but E&M was absolutely amazing at coordinating my wedding and I felt so incredibly lucky to have found them by chance on Thumbtack! I had them do day of coordination and also got my cake and desserts done with them. They decorated the ceremony and reception hall exactly as I envisioned it and it was so beautiful! The desserts and cake were so delicious and gorgeous. I got many many compliments from my guests for the desserts. The quality they delivered was amazing and the pricing was great. I had a slight makeup delay on the day of and I was super anxious, but Eimee did a great job of keeping us on track and communicating constantly with the officiant and MC to keep things running smoothly. Setup and cleanup was on time and I was able to fully enjoy the rest of my wedding (minus makeup disaster) thanks to their amazing assistance.

These girls are AMAZING! I hired them for day-of-coordinating and they brought my ideas to life. They decorated the venue and my wedding was beautiful. They followed up with the vendors and made sure I was on schedule the entire evening. I am so glad I was able to work with them and definitely recommend them for any events. I hired Michelle an Eimee from Elegant and Modern Events for my small wedding. I was on a tight budget and they gave me a quote that seemed reasonable. During the wedding planning Michelle and Eimee were very professional, answering tons of my emails and questions. They were always fast to answer and very polite and understanding. We met at the reception venue to go through the details and I couldn't help, but notice how nice, friendly and easy to talk they are! During the meeting Michelle and Eimee gave me some valid suggestions and also offered to help with rentals, which saved me a lot of headache. They sent me the options of possible flowers and allowed me to pick what designs I like the most. I wanted something simple, but cute, and their design matched my expectations very well! We met one more time to go over the details and they brought me some samples that I absolutely loved! While being busy at work and being unable to do as many DIY projects as I originally intended, I kept adjusting the order and add more and more stuff, but Michelle and Eimee were very understanding and had everything ready by the day of the wedding. What I loved the most about working with them is that they were able to set up 2 different wedding sites at the same time, since they were 2 of them! They also promptly transferred some of the decoration from the ceremony to the reception site and quickly set it up before the guests showed up! Honestly, when I saw all the decorations and flowers set up, I was shocked how nice it looked. I also got a lot of compliments on the bouquets and centerpieces. By the end of the wedding they were all taken by the guests! I can't thank them enough for making my wedding so relaxing and feel very well taken care of! I would highly recommend Michelle and Eimee to anyone who needs any flower arrangements or rental services!

They did a good job helping us decorate the wedding venue and table set up. They took care of the timelines on our wedding days. Their price is reasonable. However, I would hope that they could be more detailed oriented with our requests. They forgot to double bag all our trashcans which was requested in the venue contract. At the end of the night, all the trash bags were ripped open and cost us extra manpower to clean up. The glass door was also not open and the window blind were not closed as we specifically requested in previous conversations. Its also hard to get ahold of them over the phone sometimes. Overall, my experience with them is average.
