Learning to play the violin had always been the top item on my bucket list. I am very excited that I have been able begin this journey under a patient, understanding and experienced teacher such as Ashlie. Being a first time student to anything arts or music related I had some reservations, however all fear or hesitancy has been easily cast aside under Ashlie's tutelage. Ashlie is a very calm and encouraging instructor who is able to implement a multitude of teaching techniques in order to help you progress in your lessons. Perhaps the biggest compliment I can express, in order to better encapsulate the degree of confidence and admiration I hold for her and her abilities, is that I am also going to start bringing my 7 year old niece for lessons and begin her journey with the violin. I believe Ashlie's personality is perfect for teaching students of all ages. I look forward to continuing my musical practice under her guidance and to sharing this overall experience with my niece.

Ashlie is an extremely competent violin teacher. She knows exactly how to guide one through the different skill levels necessary to master playing. She does this easily and perceptively always careful to neither rush through nor prolong the mastery of a skill to the point where boredom or frustration might set in. In other words, she keeps one interested by adding to one's program different lessons and practices that help with the mastery of the skill one is trying to attain. Her tremendous patience and sweet disposition, furthermore, help to put one at ease right away. I would definitely recommend Ashlie to anyone seeking to learn to play the violin.

Ashlie has been the most wonderful violin teacher for my daughter. She has a wonderful way of finding out what works for the individual student. The progress has been fantastic!

I enjoyed my sessions with Ashlie. I made a great progress in a very short period of time.I will continue my sessions with her as soon as I am ready to start again. She is a great teacher and I would strongly recommend her to any friend who wants to take music lessons.

A very good instructor, being that she had to contend with an adult learner that also did not read music, she was very understanding. She works her teachings around you not the other way around, so you can move at your own pace and ability and not feel like you are not improving. So I recommend her to any of you who are older, and would like to take up the Violin.
