Our client repeatedly say they love our quick response time. Our only explanation is that our entire team is comprised of millennials and as millennials, we are always connected, either with our computers or phones. For us it's second nature, for our clients, its superb service. We love to not only fulfill but surpassing our client's expectations. Sydney with A Slice of PR was great to work with and helped to get the initial marketing for our new business up and going fast. We started a new company, Dogpanion, and needed someone to create a logo, website, and business cards. We had some ideas about how the web page should function, but no clear ideas about the branding, colors, or even symbols in the logo. Sydney started first with the logo, and gave us 12 very different options to start with. They were all very different but contained all the symbols and themes appropriate to our business (dog training). We chose one of them that we liked the best, and then went back and forth for about a week nit picking and changing everything about it! Sydney was very patient and was often able to respond to our change requests within a day. We ended up with a logo we are proud of that effectively communicates the values of our business. Next, Sydney designed our webpage using a template from squarespace (www.dogpaniondogtraining.com). She first directed us to an album of stock photos and had us choose 15 to 20 that we liked to give our site that glossy photo feel. We gave her the rough draft of for the site and she wordsmithed everything to make it sound professional. Just like with the logo we went back and forth for about two weeks changing things one way then changing them back. Sydney was very patient with us and allowed us time to explore different designs. One of the most memorable moments of the process was a phone call with Sydney about half way through. We were stuck about how to communicate information about the types of services being offered and didnt know how to include all the information without it seeming overwhelming. We put her on speaker phone and sat in front of the computer with the draft of the website up, and basically just talked about end goals and what we were feeling very abstract thoughts and Sydney brainstormed with us and made changes to site in real time so we could all talk about ideas. We were so impressed with the website, we also had Sydney design business cards for us. Just like the logo, she listed to our ideas and presented us with a few different options. We were able to make a bunch of changes and take the best out of each option to create the business card that fit our business. Being able to see options and not just one proof was super helpful. All in all I would highly recommend Sydney for any new business owners who need someone with patience and a good eye for design.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We both have degrees in Journalism and PR in addition to being certified in CISION, a PR software providing direct services including content marketing, media monitoring, media list building, distribution and analysis. In addition, we have each worked in the industry for 10 years. We love what we do, creating something from nothing.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Prior to our last semester of college, we put together a business plan based around our strengths from past syllabi we had saved from our PR classes. Days after graduating college, we launched our company, landing our first client a short three weeks later.
What types of customers have you worked with?
To date, our clients range from medium-sized non-profits, businesses, and online retailers to power players in real estate and the entertainment and medical industry.
