I have been an artist for over 30 years, and offer creative spontaneous designs in the true tradition of henna which is a living, now worldwide, art form. Designs are created in the moment, unique for each person. Because you never step in the same river twice!
I make the henna paste for each event from all natural, high quality ingredients, so that it's fresh and provides great stain. Henna paste sitting on store shelves is likely to either be stale or worse, full of chemicals.
Being reliable and on time is very important to me. I take pride in my work and go out of my way to make my clients happy.
My services always include lemon sugar spray (sealant, darker stain) poof on cosmetic glitter option, (just for fun-BLING!) free set-up time and a pleasant, attractive, sanitary set-up. Faux jewels can be integrated into designs upon request.
AND I offer henna workshops and classes. Private tutoring available.

We had a company event and It was amazing working with Barbara. She was on-time(in fact very early). She did amazing hennatattoos spontaneously...Loved working with her...and willing to work with her in the future.

Barbara did an amazing job providing hennatattoos at our bat mitzvah party. She was reliable and managed to service a ton of people. I thought only the kids would want to get one but she did tattoos on a ton of adults too. The tattoos were beautiful, she is very nice and I absolutely recommend her. The only recommendation I would make is to provide her with some kind of lighting if you plan to have her work in a dark space.

Barbara was a fabulous addition to our event. There was a line all evening waiting to get in on the Henna experience. She was extremely professional, and delivered everything she promised--including a great attitude and personable nature. I had hired her for my office diwali party and evryone just loved her. She was so cooperative and nice with everyone. She almost did 20-30 hands and everyone jus loved her intricate design. And her mehendi is so natural and gives a nice pure maroon henna color. Will definitely call her back for any future henna.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer everyone reasonably priced high quality art, with 30+ years of professional art and design experience. Free phone consultation. I love talking with customers!
Extra time free, and discounts are available to folks that are doing good work, like non-profits helping women, children, healthcare, the environment....
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my degree in Graphic Design, and have always been involved with the arts.The world is a giant henna design mirror. I am always drawing and doodling. Patterns are everywhere. In the fabrics, the catalog pictures, the clouds, the junk mail, the cat's sweet expression!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Hand and arm designs are the most popular. I do a lot of bracelets and anklets in henna too. I particularly enjoy bridal designs. Glitter accents and rhinestones are also available. About half the clients enjoy poof on glitters while the henna is drying. The henna still develops to it's natural color when the glitter is gone after the first washing.
