FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Before any project, I estimate the costs for the work--a little project management can save everyone involved both time and money. Then, I will give you an estimate for the work. The number will not exceed that amount unless the scope of the project changes. I am transparent about this process--you need to know what will be included in the work that I provide, and I need a definite scope of work to complete.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I might have some additional questions for you on the first photo shoot. It is important for me to know your intended audience and your marketing goals to ensure that I can deliver the best possible images to you. After we have a working relationship, I will already know your audience and goals (unless they have changed), and we can get straight to work . . . .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My degrees are in English, but I earned a minor in Studio Arts with my Bachelor's Degree. I also owned/operated a photography studio in the LoDo District of Denver for 5 years in the mid-90's. I specialized in Interior Architecture, Product, Portraiture, and Fashion photography, and shot film (remember that stuff?) on small, medium, and large-format cameras. Today, I'm all digital, but my years as a professional photographer with film and manual focus cameras has given me a solid advantage to make beautiful images.
