FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do "per project" pricing so there are never any additional costs or over-runs. This includes two rounds of edits to make sure your video or picture looks exactly as you want it. When I photograph individuals for personal use I always provide full resolution copies and the rights to reproduce and use them for any purpose. With images for commercial use, we arrange a flat fee and all of the usage rights for the products on an individual basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
This depends on whether you're a business or individual, but generally we meet to discuss your wishes, vision, and goals. Then I draft a project plan and budget. If it looks good, we sign, and I get to work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began in theatre as a director, designer, and actor. I've worked with TheatreWorks in Palo Alto, Center Rep in Walnut Creek, SF Playhouse in San Francisco, and dozens of other companies. I have 22 years of experience in communication design with the CA Department of Public Health, developing strategic plans, producing video, and creating a wide range of media materials. In 2007, I started Hurricane Images Inc., melding both my creative world and my communication world into one vision.
